I've taken two reformer classes with Mel so far and I've really enjoyed her instruction that infuses her personality, energy and attention to her students. You forget that you're exercising because Mel makes the pilates fun! I also like her playlists. I've taken other reformer classes with other instructors and they're also enjoyable. Each instructor brings their own energy, personality and style of instruction so I've found it rewarding to take classes with Sabrina and Renee too! I certainly feel I've had a physical workout with whomever is instructing at Prevailing Pilates.
I LOVE The Hot Mat Pilates classes. They are well-structured, challenging, and intentionally paced, making it easy to build strength and improve form over time. SABRINA provides precise cues, personalized adjustments, and thoughtful encouragement without ever feeling overwhelming. The studio is clean, organized, and creates an atmosphere that supports focus and progress, and offers a very calm and welcoming feeling.
