I initially booked the appt to be with Alexis for a trim and blow out. I was told Alexis does not work on tuesdays so I was told I would be with Tiffany for my appt. I didn’t want to go with someone else but I looked into Tiffany’s work & was comfortable with the switch. I had mentioned on the phone I wanted a trim and blow dry. Upon arrival to the appt I am given a different stylist, at this point I am confused because I was told the switch was with Tiffany & it’s now a different person. Upon being seated in the styling chair, I was asked what are my goals & when I mentioned the trim, the stylist said I wasn’t booked for a trim just a blow out. I should’ve been given a call to let me know of these sudden changes. If I would’ve atleast gotten a call about these changes I would’ve saved my time & money to come in another day. This was supposed to be a birthday gift to myself & I didn’t get exactly what I wanted. I got half done to my hair of what I wanted and I was thrown to another stylist without being informed at all. Mel did do a great blowout & was super kind but I just wish I could’ve been informed so I could make the choice but I wasn’t given that opportunity. I showed up for everything to be different than what I’d been told & requested.

My previous hairdresser moved away and I was so stressed with who I would go to for color and styling. I am so thankful I found Tayla and Jay at Prive! talent at the Winger Park location is pure MAGIC. She has taken my hair from being lifeless and completely changing it. She’s always coming up with news way to do something new. She eased my nerves about staying somewhere new with my hair too. I’d highly recommend her for your color needs!! Jay is an artist, a sculptor if you will. If you show him a few pictures of the type of. If you want, he knows how to cut your hair to get you what you want. 10/10 would recommend him for styling! Prive overall is a gem and I truly love coming here.
Gina is A total rockstar my hair definitely needed curly hair treatment, and a scalp treatment. She did a phenomenal job. Definitely will tell my friends about her and the great work. She does one day she’ll definitely own her own salon.
Excellent above and beyond service that revived my hair and was a wonderful experience from the moment you open the door. I was welcomed and offered a beverage; their cappuccino is lovely. My stylist Tiffany and her assistant Maya were 5 stars all around. Tiffany took her time with me establishing what I was looking for both in this appointment and with long term hair goals. She was able to recommend products to meet my needs without the experience feeling pushy. I felt listened to and left feeling beautiful again. She even made sure I got the perfect photo to show off my new style. Already booked my next visit and will definitely be recommending this salon to all of my friends.
