Food is good, plus they have a very good celiac-safe menu. I reccomend getting the tacos and the mango dessert. Service is nice and attentive, staff is friendly and they left a good impression. I would go back. Prices are a bit on the higher side but I would say it is worth it in the end.
Visted again while on weekday getaway to San Diego. Started with Esquite for starter (1 order for 2 ppl) and I nearly licked the bowl. Instead of tacos, we tried the short rib enchiladas and Cali Bowl. The bowl was tasty and light. The short rib enchiladas weren't as tender as expected and the sauce was slightly spicy and tasted mole-inspired. The Pistachio Tres-Leches dessert was the highlight of the meal. Seriously delicious. The churro sundae was as expected but the other dessert much better. Next time, we'll switch out the entrees. Phenomenal friendly and personal service during a busy holiday week.
Great place! Tacos and apps we tried were delicious. The drinks were also really good. Really nice location with plenty of outdoor seating. Staff were super nice too
Loooove this place. Food is absolutely delicious. Tacos, fire grilled corn, brinks, tres leches, everything I tried was really good. Perfect guacamole was actually perfect 😀🤤 Inside the restaurant is clean and nice. Outside seating with heater are also available. Again, nice arrangement. Good for small scale corporate events as well. Parking lot is there.
We had an amazing experience at Puesto! We ordered the Cali Bowl and the filet mignon was absolute perfection—honestly one of my favorite meals from our weekend visiting San Diego. Their Passionfruit Mule was also so refreshing and delicious! We came with our 3- and 4-year-old, and our server was incredibly attentive. They brought out chips and salsa right away and even took our little one’s order while we were still looking over the menu, which made everything so much easier. Fantastic food, great drinks, and truly thoughtful service. Highly recommend! 🍽️✨
