I am rating 2 things only, a cheese pizza and cleanliness. They nailed it on both. I spent a while looking at pics and reading reviews and apparently chose very well. If you love cheese pizza and plan to take it out or home give them a try. 2 slices and a soda 7.99.
Need to do better with salads. I ordered the pear salad and asked to include grilled chicken. The greens look horrible no grilled chicken and the pears are hard as a rock.The good news is that my hubs ordered the Italian hero and is loving it, great brick oven bread.
I am a native New Yorker and a pastry chef who is a pizza snob. The pizzas here are excellent! They make the Pulcinella --a wood fired pizza with truffles, mushrooms, garlic and basil...which is chef's kiss. The other pizza pictured has prosciutto, arugula, and balsamic...the prosciutto was excellent and there was just the right amount of balsamic glaze. The char on the edges....to die for!
I haven't tried the food yet. They have pizza and bakery items available. Fresh mozzarella and rice balls made. However, most of the meals are already made in freezer to go. I like my meals Fresh. There prices are a bit high
We received a flyer and coupons in our mailbox so we decided to try it out and I am glad we did. First of all, the food is fantastic. We tried the Pulcinella woodfire pizza (cheese, mushroom, truffle cream) with cup pepperoni added, and a pepperoni roll. The menu is diverse and interesting and there are many other things I’d like to try. They also have a variety of prepared meals ready to go and an assortment of grocery items like a proper Italian market. The wait was almost double what we were told on the phone, so they may want to work on communication (it was a takeout order), but we will definitely be back!
