Remy was awesome! His knowledge of Oakland and his connections in the real estate world were so so helpful for us in closing. He helped us get into a home we are so incredibly happy with and he was so helpful along the journey as first time home buyers. Even after closing he has helped us with some random questions which we are so appreciative of and shows he truly cares about his clients. Remy Weinstein has now represented us twice as sellers and both times we have been blown away by the results. Both house sold after 2 weekends. The first house, sold in 2019, became the most viewed property in Oakland on Zillow and received 10 offers. It sold for ~15% over asking price. The second house, sold in July 2024, for 25% over asking price and received 4 competing offers, at a time when many Oakland homes had difficulty selling. When selling with Remy, it is well worth your trust and money to follow his aesthetic renovation advice, it will pay for itself when you receive offers. He has a great crew of handymen, gardeners and stagers that made our homes shine. The end product stands out from other homes on the market, which he is able to capture in stunning photos, presented flawlessly on the top real estate platforms. Remy has a great reputation amongst other agents, which helps a lot, because agents seem not to encourage their buyer clients to tear the house apart looking for anything to lower their offer. We would absolutely recommend Remy Weinstein Real Estate. He’s the first person we will call for future purchases or sales.
Remy helped my fiancé and I purchase our first home together here in the East Bay. Given that we were completely new to the process we had a lot of questions, and Remy was outstanding throughout, answering everything we asked (super quickly) and giving us confidence that we had an expert on our side. At the start of the process we set up search parameters with Remy's online system and were easily able to browse and see when things came up we might be interested in. Remy was quickly able to set up viewings for us, and always offered useful perspective on the properties we saw, the pros/cons and on things he would do to improve it. He was never at all pushy, always gave an honest opinion (good and bad), and it was a pleasure to search with him. The first offer we put in, Remy took time to talk us through the disclosures package and gave us excellent advice on putting together a strong offer. The offer was accepted, we were thrilled and Remy was always on hand as we were going through the mortgage/escrow process. He helped us get in touch with an excellent mortgage broker who we worked with. Overall, we can't recommend Remy highly enough, he is a true professional, knows the market and the process inside out and is a personable, decent human to top it all off.
Remy is absolutely a phenomenal agent. We bought our home with him originally, and just sold it with him as well. I have nothing but positive things to say about the experience from start to finish. He made great recommendations for improvements to be made prior to listing, did a fantastic job with the updates, handled all of the contractors and work that was being completed while we were already out of state, did a great job with the stager/photos/3D tour, was strategic with the pricing, and ended up getting us 7 competing offers, with an accepted offer $200k over asking. As unpredictable as the Bay Area housing market can be, it's a huge relief to work with an agent you can trust. I have full faith in Remy's local knowledge, expertise, and honest guidance in making informed decisions. Thank you Remy for making what can often be a very stressful process, quick, easy, and better than expected!
