I am not sure how this company has received 5 stars. The communication and scheduled times are never met. I noticed tubes in our garage on Monday. Upon calling the company they said they could get someone out that afternoon. I was surprised because it was the holidays but I said let’s do it. Monday afternoon comes and goes. I called the office and they said they would reach out to the tech and call me back with an update. Nothing. I called the next morning and they apologized and said they could try coming that afternoon or set an appointment. I set an appointment thinking that with it on the books it would be a sure thing. We set it for Friday morning at 8. I received a confirmation email and was told I’d be given a call 30 minutes prior to arrival. 8:10 arrives and I call the office once again. She says that she will reach out to the tech. She tried twice and no response. At this point she can’t promise me anything and I didn’t want to wait around all day for the possibility that he may or may not come so I cancel the appointment. Ten minutes later I receive a phone call from someone saying they are on their way. I told him that I already cancelled and not to bother coming. He mentions the other tech that was coming out that his father died. I apologized that his father passed but someone at some point should have known and reached out to me. I should also mention I never talked to the same person on the phone when calling the office. It was always supposed to be the same tech that was coming out, whose name I shall not reveal. I felt like the left hand didn’t know what the right hand was doing.
Ops manager: Michael Service tech: Will They didn't give last names. I am not exactly sure how they have this many 5 star reviews when our service was absolutely trash. Here is my experience... I understand that things happen, but when the same issues occur repeatedly, it becomes less about bad luck and more about how a business operates. The initial visit went smoothly. We paid $400 for four treatments, and that first visit counted as one. After that, the experience declined significantly. First, we later discovered that we had been scheduled as a one-time treatment, despite paying for four. This only came to light when we called to ask when the next service would be scheduled. While this mistake was eventually corrected, we were placed at the back of the schedule due to their internal error. As a result, we went nearly two weeks without service, even though treatments were supposed to be weekly until all four were completed. For the third service, we were scheduled for the 26th with a service window between 12 PM and 6 PM. We arranged our day accordingly and waited. Around 4:30 PM, we called the office to check the status, only to be told that the technician had called out sick and that our appointment had been moved to Monday. No one notified us of this change, resulting in half a day wasted waiting for a service that was never coming. And on top of that, we had cleared everything out of cabinets to make sure they can get in their since that is what they requested. We arranged our entire day for this service. After expressing my frustration, I was contacted by the operations manager, Michael, to “make it right.” We agreed on a 6–7 AM Saturday window, which I accepted. Unfortunately, the technician did not arrive until over an hour after the agreed window, and there was no communication until 30 minutes after the window had already passed. I was told to reach out anytime with concerns. I’ve since contacted the operations manager multiple times requesting a refund for the final (fourth) service so we can part ways. I have received no response. At this point, I will be canceling the final appointment and pursuing a chargeback for the remaining $100. This review isn’t written out of anger, it’s written out of frustration with repeated scheduling errors, lack of communication, and unresponsiveness. I hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision and encourages the company to improve its internal processes.
I highly recommend Responsible Pest and Daniel as the technician. Daniel is a great service technician. His kind demeanor and polite conversation is sincerely appreciated. Thank God, we have never seen any scorpions or any other bugs. Responsible Pest has been servicing since 2019 and aside from a couple of bugs here and there, we haven't seen too many around. Daniel always texts/calls before entering the property grounds. He shared details about the product he uses and how it is eco friendly. All in all, he is a great person and Responsible Pest a great company.
I absolutely love this company. Rick is phenomenal at what he does and has the best customer service. He takes such good care of my home and when I’m away I can always trust him when I have my dog there and he is so thoughtful and kind. This company is reliable, affordable, and a pleasure to work with. If you need to get rid of any pests, this is the company to choose! I had an issue with scorpions for far too long and as soon as they came, I have not had an issue since.
We had a nightmare with hornets. Fired first company. Cannot tell you how good, concerned, informative, friendly they were. Knocked out 17 nests, covered house vents, and returned immediately to knock out the last nests. Thanks Brandon! The best.
