This is one of my favorite businesses in RVA! The owners are so nice and thoughtful. We have purchased many oddities from here and are always super satisfied with the quality. We recently had a snafu with one of our items, and they sent a replacement (as this happened to be an item where replacements were available.) They went above and beyond and sent a variety of options to ensure that we were satisfied with it! Businesses do not have to be thoughtful with their customer service, but you will find that here at RIP!
I absolutely love this oddity store. There is so much to look at, with an incredible variety of items, and everything is authentic; from books, candles, crystals, and herbs to exotic animal specimens. No matter what you’re interested in, there’s something fascinating to discover here. The staff was super friendly and helpful and welcoming. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is because the space is very tight inside. If there are more than about ten people in the store at once, it becomes difficult to move through the aisles without brushing up against others. That said, I still had a great experience overall and definitely left with more than I probably should have.
Love this store! Many strange and wonderful pieces here for the avid collector or the newly curious. The entemology class was fun and informative, and I can't wait to go home and frame my piece. Thank you for such a magnificent establishment.
A beautiful shop! Purchased a few crystal towers, an old tin type photo, incense and a very pretty palmistry poster. Will certainly be back for some specimens💖
9/22/24 - Very Unique place with lots to see. I loved the butterfly/Insect sections. I got a red butterfly and it was so nice that they have information on the bug behind the framing. Would love to come back to see what new items they have. Staff was very friendly as well.
