I worked in NYC for 20 years and have enjoyed amazing Italian food. Whenever I leave NYC I am always looking for excellent Italian food which is harder to find than you would think. Restaurant Olivia is amazing and as good or better than what I had in NYC! The focacia bread is always excellent. We had a pork appetizer that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The pastas were incredible as always. I had the bolognese and the rigatoni. A secret if the server does not tell you is that you can choose two half order pastas if you can't make up your mind about just one. We have been many times now and the service is excellent, friendly and the cozy ambiance of the room just perfect for what Olivia's does.
Had a great time here with friends on a Saturday evening. The staff were great, especially the sommelier, who helped us pick a fantastic Nebbiolo that paired so well with all the hand made pastas we selected. Their small plates were also very good - my favorite was crispy pork terrine. All around a great restaurant and dinning experience!
Our social club went to Restaurant Olivia in August of 2025. We had a group of around 15. I had heard so many good things about Restaurant Olivia and had so many requests for this one. Unfortunately in our experience the service didn't live up to the the experience I heard so much about. The main issue I took with our experience was that our reservation was at 7pm. With half the table arriving between 6:50-7 and already seated at the table when I (the host) got there. The last guest probably arrived around 7:10 at the latest. Our first course didn't hit the table until 7:55 almost an hour after our reservation. We had a preset menu for the evening so everything besides drinks was chosen ahead of time. Thus why it's tough for me to understand why the food took so long. As the host of the event this directly impacts my business and the way guests enjoy my events when they wait almost an hour for food unexpectedly. It was embarrassing to have guests start to ask me (the host) where the food was. I personally would not return unless it was with a small group. Overall it was a disappointing experience and left a bad taste in my mouth.
This is a truly special place!! My absolute favorite restaurant in Denver. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-tier. For a party of two, I recommend ordering two starters, two pastas, and two desserts or going all in with their tasting menu, you won’t regret it. Be sure to make a reservation! Before our meal, we were asked about any allergies or dietary restrictions, which I really appreciated. Kayla was our server and she went above and beyond, an absolute gem. That said, every staff member we interacted with was exceptional. 100/10 — ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wonderful evening last night! We had some of the best scallops ever! accompanied by a sureal sauce vierge . The sommelier Scott was a godsend, directing us to an amazing white Italian from piedmont to balance with all the dishes. And of course Racheal makes amazing espresso martinis. All pulled together by our impressive server Kim
