This is by far the best after school program in the area, we truly appreciate having this nearby and all of the staff and other kids have helped our son grow. The staff (front desk, coaches) and Sensei really understand how to help children thrive and all work well as a team to support their students. My husband does the vast majority of the drop offs and pick ups and always talks about how happy our son is there and how welcoming and kind the staff are to him. It’s a true gift to know your son is cared for and happy. The camaraderie amongst students is also a wonderful way for kids to meet other friends in the area. My child goes through the yearbook every night showing us all of his RTMA buddies.
Our son requests to be the first dropped off and the last to be picked up which is not typical for him. They do an amazing job here for martial arts training, camos and their after school program. He asks to go to camp even on the weekends. This camp has already helped his social skills tremendously.
Exceptional facility and staff, a definite 5 star experience. You will not find a more professional, well kept studio in Richmond. My children are in after school and evening programs and have continued to thrive and love every minute! Rates and fees are extremely reasonable with no hidden surprises. Our family loves RTMA ❤️
My daughter has been attending RTMA Taekwondo for over two years, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The instructors do an incredible job of teaching not only the physical aspects of self-defense but also the importance of respect, discipline, and perseverance. The atmosphere is welcoming, and they make learning fun while maintaining a structured and focused environment. It’s amazing to see how much confidence and strength my daughter has gained during her time here. I highly recommend RTMA to anyone looking for a well-rounded martial arts program that emphasizes personal growth as much as technique.
My son has been attending RTMA for over a year now and he loves it. The instructors and owners at RTMA are very professional, supportive, and caring when it comes the children and adults enrolled in their classes. Children’s classes are held at appropriate hours during the evenings, which is helpful for children enrolled in school. Class sizes vary per night, but children are normally divided between the three studios according to the belt ranking. Instructors and staff encourage students to help each other learn new skills and practice developing ones. The owners are always on site and available to answer any questions or concerns. RTMA is one of the best Taekwondo Schools in the area!
