Best place to practice in Houston! John is always so nice and accommodating. Excellent facility, clean, and the hourly rooms are reasonably priced and have excellent gear ready to go. Highly recommended!

My old band just had it's first reunion practice here last Saturday and we were quite happy with the experience. Well, happy with the rental space: The old garage band could use a time-machine to warp back to 1984 and recover our former musical glory. The facility is under new management. I did not tour the entire facility, but my practice room was cleaned and relatively sound-proof. It had a house drum kit, guitar amp, bass amp, PA system with a small 8-channel powered mixer and a bottle of hand-sanitizer, to boot. We only used 2 microphones with stands and XLRs, but more are available at the facility. There was also a small refrigerator in the room...just incase our taste buds needed to keep their choice of beverage cool. Rental price for the space was fair. Rock Center was running a Special that night; $75 for a four block of time! I don't know how often they run that Special, but you can't beat it with a stick! My band definitely plans to return! Monthly rates are also available, but I can't remember the price that was quoted. The owner was very laid back, helpful and friendly: I only wish that I could remember his name, but my dying brain cells make that a Herculean effort. We all know that Guitar Center rehearsal studio is, sadly, going the way of the Dodo bird due to bankruptcy so this place is a viable option. If your band needs a place to rehearse and you don't feel like having your Mom/ Dad/ Girl/ Kids hassling you as you create your art I would suggest that you give Rock Center a shot!

I really like rehearsing here but the owner needs to get with the times and make more recent/relevant payment options available. Not everyone has Cash, PayPal, or a money order on hand. Dont expect a glamorous rehearsal space. It looks a little run down, but is a no-frills, no bull rehearsal space with hourly and monthly rental space available. That being said, the rooms are quite spacious, and there is a backline available upon request for the hourly rooms. The hourly rates are really reasonable. I usually recommend this place to any friends looking for a rehearsal spot.

Ich bin Schlagzeuger und sie stellen Beater-Sets zum Benutzen bereit. Das ist viel besser, als mein eigenes Zeug herumzuschleppen. Ich komme seit Jahren hierher und bin damit sehr zufrieden.

Ich bin immer sehr zufrieden und glücklich mit ihrem Service. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Besitzer bereiten die Zimmer im Voraus für Ihre Buchung vor. Sie kühlen oder wärmen die Zimmer je nach Wetter, was großartig ist! Die Besitzer sind sehr höfliche und gastfreundliche Menschen. All das und ein großartiger Preis – wie kann man da falsch liegen? Das ist der einzige Ort, zu dem ich für Proben gehen werde.
