I saw Dr. Nguyen for my first appointment at Rockridge Optometry. She was so incredibly thorough and honestly, I’m a bit in awe. For many years, I’ve had astigmatism and pain in my right eye. I sporadically wore my glasses because something still felt off despite previous reconfirmation of my prescription. Turns out the axis was practically opposite. Dr. Nguyen caught this and now I WANT to always wear my glasses and my eye feels so much better. Thank you, Dr. Nguyen!

I’ve been coming to Rockridge Optometry for a few years now, and always have a great experience. Really helpful, kind, and professional staff all around. I always feel that my questions are addressed with care. I have recommended Rockridge Optometry to many of my friends and will continue to do so! Bonus points for a great selection of frames.

Dr. Sabatini is incredible. So kind, considerate and meticulous too. The best optometrist I have worked with. Highly recommend him if you need a glasses and/or contacts exam. Rockridge had a good selection of trial contact lenses in-house as well and they have a good selection of frames too. Only 4 stars because whoever put my lenses in the glasses I bought reversed them so left lens was in right rim and vice versa. When the optician fitted them to my face, I complained that my vision was terrible looking through the new glasses. I even said I would not feel safe driving with them. They told me to try them for a WEEK and then bring them back. I felt totally unheard. Luckily after a day I figured out what was going on and swapped them myself. Would have been a bad week for me and dangerous driving too since I have astigmatism in one eye only. Seems like a pretty basic thing to check for before giving someone their glasses and strange not to double check after a patient says something about it. Edit: Manager called me to check in and smooth things over and apologize. Bumping to 5 stars.

Rockridge Optometry is the best Optometrist Office I have had experience with. I know this as a person who has not only worked with these wonderful people, but as someone who has been treated by the wonderful doctors. The front desk, the techs, the opticians, the doctors and management. If you value being valued as a person and treated like a human being, go see the Rockridge Optometry family.

I had a fantastic experience at Rockridge Optical. Dr Sabatini took excellent care of me for both glasses and contact lens exams. He recommended a new brand of contacts I’d never heard of and I love them! He also took the time to answer all my questions about age-related eye changes. The only drawback is that I couldn’t find frames I liked, despite the optician working with me to find something. She was super helpful, validated my indecision, and said that if I found frames elsewhere they could probably order them for me. Thanks!
