Their sushi is so good! It was buy one get one. Also got hibachi which was really good too. Our waiter was awesome as well, didnt catch his name but he was so kind. Also loved the music choice. 10000/10
I've had fresher (and way more affordable) sushi from a Harris teeter deli. This smelled and tasted so off that I threw it away after two bites. Couldn’t get a refund because I ordered through a delivery service. Maybe the in-house dining experience is better, but this is NOT somewhere to get takeout at the very least.
Me and my brother went to this restaurant. We ordered to eat in, and they gave us our food in a to-go box. Strange, but we were in bothered. We were sat down, and began eating our food when another server came up to us, and told us we cannot eat our to-go food in. But we didn't order to go? The first thing we said as we entered, was "May we please be seated?" We were kicked out, before even trying our sushi. The sushi wasn't very good. It's flavorless and dry, did not include the sauces we ordered it with. There was also a gentleman laying down in one of the booths asleep. Didn't bother us, but perhaps worth mentioning? The only thing I enjoyed here was the crab wontons. We were missing one of the wontons, which we didn't notice until we were kicked out. Not worth it the money
Sake Bomb comes off as more of an Asian Fusion restaurant rather than traditionally Japanese given that they have several items that are Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese. That isn't much of an issue either, considering that I have mostly positive things to say about it. The Sushi is varied, fresh & delicious. Their noodle dishes are a large step up from other Asian restaurants in the area. Service was lovely, and my waiter was kind, attentive, engaging, and had a deep knowledge of the menu items, and could tell me much of everything about it. The dishes use fresh ingredients, and very little use imitation substitutes. The restaurant was clean, and had a warm atmosphere. I will be revisiting soon, to better understand their menu, and possibly change my review if I'm impressed.
I'm very happy my daughter and I chose this place for some lunch! It took a little to be seated (due to short staffing), but the atmosphere was perfect, and our server was very helpful and full of suggestions for us. He made sure to keep us happy and satisfied the whole time we were there. Our salads and sushi were fresh and displayed beautifully! I wish I could remember the name of our server because he deserves the biggest shout!! Thank you for making our experience better than I imagined, and we look forward to returning soon!
