From the start I knew I could trust Gabrielle to cut my hair because she really listened and gave me creative and solid advice based on what I wanted. As she cut she explained her technique and why it would work. And it did work! Then she give me new styling ideas that fit my wash and wear approach to hair care. I'm grateful to Gabi for her patience and skill. So happy I found her.
Layla is AMAZING!! 🤩 I have never loved a hair color like the one she JUST did for me. She is kind, she is very efficient and talented. I love the way she has great customer service and she is always up for a challenge and change ! I absolutely love her and the salon. Super recommended.
Went in to get my roots touched up with Layla. My natural hair had grown out about 3-4 inches (see first image). The color I wanted to match is blonde highlights with a subtle brown-reddish base (hair dye not color lift) as shown in the first picture attached. By the end of the 5 hr process, my hair roots did not matched the rest of my hair. Instead, the highlights and ends were darkened. There was no base color applied to the roots, my natural hair was used as base - see 3 middle pictures below. I asked if I could get a refund, the salon said they would correct the error before moving to a refund. I went back a week later. The stylist, Layla, along with another stylist, Gina, lifted all of the color from my hair - base and highlight. The outcome was a vertically uniform color across my hair, but it was no longer the hair I started with. Instead, I have a stronger red base giving an overall copper effect (see last 3 images). After finishing, they commented something along the lines of, "see, now the roots match the ends". This might be true, but only a part of the request. Total for hair coloring was around $500.
