I highly recommend Crystal, for voice lessons. She is definitely a wonderful voice lessons teacher. She definitely helps me achieve my goals. And she is very helpful and helps me become successful. and she’s super sweet😊 And I definitely like her style of music teaching🎵🎶 From Makena,

It was an very frustrating process trying to book violin lessons for my daughter at this school. I used their lesson search function on their website to book and pay for our initial time slot. A few days before the lesson, the office informed me that suddenly that teacher wasn't available anymore so we had a sub. My daughter liked the sub but unfortunately she wasn't available to teach her regularly. So we waited for something to become available and meanwhile they continued to charge me for the lessons. (They said they would credit me those classes to the next month but they did not. After reminding them, they have now said they have refunded me those classes so I am still waiting for that.) We decide to try an online class but the lesson was subpar (the teacher was eating and checking her makeup throughout the lesson, and she was a bit harsh in her instruction). Soon afterwards, an in-person lesson with my daughter's preferred teacher became available so we switch to that lesson. A couple of days before the lesson was supposed to start, the office informs me that it was a mistake and that the lesson/teacher was not actually available so they offer another time slot/teacher and we go ahead with the change. The director of the school was supposed to call me (at my request) to address all of this but he never did, I only dealt with the front office. We show up for the first lesson with the new teacher and unbelievably that teacher does not show up. The front office was apologetic and offers her later class instead, which is in an hour and a half. Considering the huge inconvenience, we pass. Needless to say, after a month of being patient and flexible in trying to book a regular violin lesson, I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed in how this school is run and our experience here. Most of all, I'm sad for the disappointment this all has caused for my daughter. I cannot at all recommend this school.

We love our piano lessons here and the multiple recital opportunities. Plus their front desk staff was so helpful in guiding us to our teacher. We can’t recommend them enough!

Great experience! My piano teachers are very attentive, encouraging and patient. They point out certain aspects of my playing while providing pointers and tips that make playing easier, more enjoyable and fun! Update July 2019 The teachers have continued to work with me to continue the musical journey given my abilities. This does make each session very enjoyable Update January 2021 San Jose School of Music through online and in-person classes has made it possible for me to continue piano lessons. Karla, in reception is always welcoming, personable and efficient. My lessons continue to be tailored to my goals and I remain very satisfied with my progress.

Meine Erfahrung mit der San Jose School of Music war ausgezeichnet. Ich bin seit mehr als drei Jahren an der San Jose School of Music. Sie haben immer hervorragende Lehrkräfte und Mitarbeiter, die jederzeit bereit sind zu helfen. Ich würde diese Schule sehr empfehlen für Kinder und Erwachsene, die daran interessiert sind, ein Instrument zu lernen.
