Our elderly toilet had started leaking when flushed, so I contacted SC Plumbing & Heating to come and fix it for us. Mitchell turned up promptly at the agreed time, and though he had a tricky job replacing the rusty and corroded workings he remained polite, pleasant and good humoured throughout. Likewise, when our system threw a tantrum and developed an airlock when the water was turned off he didn’t bat an eyelid, reassured my elderly mum and persevered until the problem was resolved. Given that the first plumber we called, after initially agreeing to help us, backed off and left us in the lurch when he found out how old our toilet is, I was seriously impressed by Mitchell’s calm, competent handling of the situation - all the more so considering the very reasonable fee charged for what turned out to be an awful lot of work. The leak was so bad we’d really feared that it might not be mendable, but our toilet is now as good as new. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend SC Plumbing & Heating, or to call them out again next time we need a plumber.
I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the service this team provided. I didn’t need a huge job doing; it was just fitting a new shower, but they did a great job.
