School of Rock in Towson bietet Musikunterricht für Kinder und Erwachsene und macht Üben zur Performance. Die Schüler lernen Instrumente und singen, gründen Bands und treten auf der Bühne auf, gelegentlich mit einer Hausband. The SOR Baltimore is an absolute wonderful program for kids and adults who want to learn how to play an instrument or learn singing skills. Anyone can go to regular music lessons and learn how to play but the School of Rock lets them take those skills they learned and do something with it. Ultimately they learn how to play with others in a band. It’s the coolest thing! they get to play with others who also have musical talent and work towards a goal which is the performance show and if your really good they have a house band that play together regularly at music venues. It’s every budding musicians dream. It’s so cool! Highly recommend. The staff are all amazing and knowledgeable and we have had nothing but a wonderful and positive experience.
I love the knowledgeable, patient staff at SoR Baltimore. They encourage and push me to do better and step outside my comfort zone. I love the availability of lesson times and the variety of forums (in person or virtual) to suit my needs. I love that they encourage students to join a band to put the students’ hard work front and center.
My son has improved greatly since joining a few months ago. Adam is a fantastic teacher who motivates and inspires! The staff are warm, friendly, and super accommodating. We love School of Rock! Can’t wait to see our son on stage in a few months for his first performance!
School of Rock has been a most amazing and inspiring experience for my 12 year-old son! He is a beautifully unique kid who does not participate in sports; often feels excluded with middle school friends. School of Rock has provided him an opportunity to connect with kids who share his interests and his passion for music. A special expression of gratitude for the General Manager, Erin Taylor, who has facilitated this experience with enthusiasm, encouragement, and kindness.
Neulich Abend, während ich gerade das Abendessen zubereitete, war mein Sohn in einem Zimmer und stöberte in meinem iPod und spielte so viele Beatles-Songs, wie er konnte, während meine Tochter in einem anderen Zimmer Rolling Stones-Songs auf ihrer Gitarre lernte. Mein Sohn hatte am Sommer-Beatles-Camp der School of Rock teilgenommen und ist immer noch so begeistert von der Erfahrung, dass er nächsten Sommer wieder hingehen möchte. Meine Tochter, eine 'Veteran'-School-of-Rockerin, die nun seit mindestens drei Jahren dabei ist, bereitet sich auf ihr neues Herbst-Rolling Stones-Programm vor. School of Rock hat ihr einen Ort gegeben, an dem sie zu einer selbstbewussten Person geworden ist. Es ist eine Komfortzone für sie. Ganz zu schweigen davon, dass sie eine ziemlich gute Gitarristin geworden ist und die Bühnenpräsenz von Keith Richards hat!
