My son played drums before coming to School of Rock, and he practiced at another music school in Vegas for 2 years. However, he did not have motivation to play everyday until he started at School of Rock. The difference is playing on that stage with other kids. He's been there for 2 years now, School of Rock helped him EXCEL AT DRUMS. I love it.
School of Rock NW has been the best experience for our son. The communication is great, the flexibility of staff to adjust lessons if something comes up, the level of expertise and knowledge that everyone has goes way beyond expectations. Also, the opportunities my son has to add different instruments instead of being stuck on just one has opened his creative mind 100%! I can ask the GM, Jordon anything and he always has an answer or will get the answer for me quickly. He never talks down to us and he has a tremendous amount of patience for the endless amounts of questions and overthinking that I do. The whole school is always upbeat and positive and my son loves every minute he is there. He has grown exponentially in such a short time and he always feels very supported. His confidence is always so high after a session. The showcases are always so well organized and it feels like our son is a rockstar! His first showcase was at the Brooklyn Bowl and the next one is at The Hard Rock Cafe! There is nothing else like it and we are grateful to have this school near us. The talent in this school is like nothing I’ve ever experienced and it’s so obvious that the staff really care about these kids!
The instructors are great. My skills are improving as is my confidence as a musician. I am in the adult performance program, and it can't be beat. I learn tons, play with some awesome folks, and we play at some great venues on the Strip! I can't say enough positive about my experience so far.
My kid is absolutely loving this school and it started from the moment we walked in just to get more information. The staff is incredibly friendly, all of them from the boss to the front desk to the teachers. It feels very inclusive there. Everyone feels welcome and leaves feeling like a rock star. My kid is thoroughly enjoying their lessons so far, and I hope their passion and confidence continue to grow at the school of rock!
We are incredibly impressed with School of Rock. Our son started with a basic knowledge of percussion, and in a short time, he has made tremendous progress. We’re especially grateful to Jordon Dold, who not only genuinely cares about his students but is also an incredibly talented musician himself. His expertise and passion for music shine through in every lesson, and his feedback is both helpful and inspiring. We highly recommend School of Rock to anyone looking for their kids to excel!
