I just recently finished the mindfulness class with Paul. I attended via zoom only, despite this I got so much out of this class. It left like I was in the classroom. Paul made sure that he and fellow zoomers and in person classmates interacted. We were all a collective. The break out rooms were awesome and met people from all walks of life and age . I really liked that. Even when it came to the day long retreat- it worked out great over zoom and felt all included. So not matter where you are - take the class. Paul was super helpful and attentive in answering all our questions in class or anything that came up during the week- he is a solid rock and support system on this journey, especially for us that took the course the first time. I also liked that the classes where recorded and I can start all over taking them again to continue to build my mindfullness practice. It is like any sport or muscle it takes time - and I am one of the slower ones to catch on and implement . Nevertheless I have started to be more mindful and integrating into my daily life and stop reacting to things I don;t have control over, but instead control myself / my response. I see myself taking the class again and again ,like several attendees have done already. It is amazing to witness the transformation. Paul has such a gift to make this class fun, interactive and mindful all at the same time.
I was so fortunate to first take this class at the UMass Medical Center with Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli many years ago. I was thrilled to hear through a friend that the class continues through the hard work and compassionate teachings of Paul Sugar. The rewards of taking the class are phenomenal. The first time I took the class it helped me cope with chronic pain and this second time with loss of my wife and the seemingly insurmountable amount of stress of dealing with life and small farm. Thank you Paul, Jon and Saki for showing me a different way of living my life. I am forever grateful. Jim
Paul’s MBSR course is truly transformative. He teaches you simples ways to gradually build presence throughout the day. If you do the work, you will be moving through life more present, allowing you to feel less anxious, and gaining more confidence. This course has been one of the most beneficial practices I’ve ever experienced. Thank you Paul!
I recently completed the 8-week MBSR course with Paul. The weekly classes were engaging and interactive. The mindfulness practices are powerful. Paul is a wonderful teacher. I am so grateful for this course and the skills that I have learned over the last eight weeks. They are truly life changing!
Taking this course from Paul Sugar was life changing. The information was energizing. Paul was a mirror for the richness of self a life of mindfulness produces and just watching and listening to him was inspirational. Meeting fellow seekers of a more serene and meaningful life (both on zoom and in person) was a special treat. I highly recommend this course!
