The shop name is Seven Seed Coffee Roasters, and I came specifically for coffee. I wasn't disappointed; they have a wide selection of coffee beans. I tried the Tadesseyonka Ethiopia drip coffee (hot), and the barista was very skilled, extracting the aroma and flavor exactly as described on the menu. They also offer brunch, but I didn't try it. Furthermore, the shop has several seating areas and isn't crowded.
A lofty cafe with a variety of more and less comfy seating arrangements (tables for 2-4, communal tables, counter seating, indoors and outdoors, high and low chairs with and without back support), a contemporary soundtrack and a cool vibe. The food menu is rather compact, but covers all the usual Aussie brunch bases; a notably diverse offering of enticing sweet and savoury pastries; a wide range of coffee offerings that nowadays is a Melbourne coffee culture standard. A bit of an institution, but my experience varies from time to time - sometimes it feels attentive, cheerful and personal, sometimes more of an industrial conveyor line. Also the food has its ups and downs, I’ve just had a pretty waffle benny on a disappointingly dry waffle - but I’ve also had better luck on earlier occasions. Coffee, however, is very reliable.
One of my go to cafe in the area for so many years! Always very consistent with good coffee, and delicious food!! The seating space in there is well designed so you are not too close to the table next to you. It has always been a busy cafe but they are also great with efficiency!! Would always go back for a good coffee!!
Great coffee shop! Beautifully roasted coffee beans that have a unique and distinctive flavor. The sourdough bread I ordered is served with salted butter is very rich and satisfying. Definitely worth a visit in Melbourne!
One of the coffee shops to visit in Melbourne. Ordered one of their filters. It has nice coffee flavours and well balanced, although it wasn’t as flavourful as expected, but still very good! The place is indoors, and it is quite spacious, great for work or hang out with friends, and also to enjoy coffee! It has a nice ambience too.
