SGS was incredibly responsive and efficient. Our dishwasher stopped working and Grigore was able to swing by the same day to quickly diagnose, order the part we needed and within a day was able to come back and install it in about 15 minutes. Would absolutely recommend, specially if you live in the Sunset district.
Our dish washer stopped working, and I tried to fix it. We bought the wash pump put in and... still broken.. we called Gregor who came to give us an estimate to fix it. He poked around and informed us that the pump we bought was bad.. and there was nothing wrong with the pump we took out... Gregor suggested we put the old one back in and to call him if we wanted him to do it... At first I was angry he didn't fix it.. but I put the old pump back in and now it works.. I don't know why or what or how .. this isn't why I am giving 5 stars.. Gregor could have said anything at this point and as long as it was less than half the cost of a new washer I was going to pay it... He is an Honest repair guy.. Gold as far as I am concerned in this day and age.... The reason I was trying to fix it myself was because of past experiences with repair people. I think in general we get taken more often than we don't. Gregor... a good man!!
Called SGS Appliance Repair when my range burner would not ignite. Got an appointment for the next business. Grigore tested all parts related to the problem and quickly found the problematic part. Ordered the part and two days later installed the part and now range is working again. Grigore is very knowledgeable and efficient.
Grigore was a great choice to fix our leaking washer+dryer combo. Despite a couple obstacles with meeting up he was persistent and efficient in getting the job done right. I'm very happy with the result and recommend him highly.
Excellent service! My oven stopped working and my wife found SGS online. We called and were able to get an appointment the next day. Grigore arrived on time, he was friendly and polite, and he went right to work, did some tests, and determined what the problem was in a short time. He said he needed to order a part and it would take 3 to 5 days, but we were happy to get a call the next day telling us the part was in! He returned and finished the job quickly; we were happy to be able to bake again. Fast, clean, efficient, professional service, and reasonably priced, I strongly recommend SGS Appliance Repair. ~LJ
