Shades of Green Frisco has become my favorite local nursery. They have a great selection year-round and are always helpful when I have questions, as I do not naturally have a green thumb! They planted a new tree for us recently as we had one die a few years back that needed to be replaced. From initial discussion of options, installation, prepping, selecting the tree to the planting and aftercare tips, they were extremely easy to work with, efficient, and helpful. I would highly recommend them for trees and plants!

I recently bought a tree at Shades of Green and the overall experience was outstanding! Their selection and expertise in helping me find the right tree were exceptional as was the process of having it delivered and planted. The service and attention you find at Shades of Green cannot be found at big box stores or chain nurseries. Shades of Green is awesome!
Shades of Green in Frisco & Celina are TREASURES! Whether I need a native plant, veggies for the garden, advice on existing plants, or just need a beautiful space for my kids to enjoy & explore, SOG is our favorite stop. The owners/staff are experts in their field and are always helpful, courteous, & knowledgeable. The educational classes offered are always valuable and timely & have greatly enhanced my learning in planting, care, & maintenance. The cherry on top are the events like succulent pumpkins (there’s no better place to buy pumpkins), Christmas wreaths, & more that allow for creative expression, fellowship with friends, & fun!
