I brought my kids in for haircuts and had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly patient, kind, and made my kids feel completely comfortable. From the fun atmosphere to the way they explained everything and kept my children engaged, it truly felt stress-free as a parent. My kids actually enjoyed getting their hair cut, which says a lot! The stylists took their time, paid attention to detail, and the results were perfect. The salon was clean, welcoming, and clearly designed with kids in mind. We will absolutely be coming back and recommending this place to other parents. It’s so nice to find a salon where kids feel happy and parents feel at ease. Highly recommend!
Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids in Austin is fantastic! I took my niece there and the whole experience was great from start to finish. The staff was so patient and friendly, and they really know how to make kids feel comfortable. The fun, kid-friendly environment made the haircut easy and stress-free, and her haircut turned out adorable. She left smiling and excited to come back. Highly recommend Sharkey’s to anyone looking for a great kids’ haircut in Austin!
What a huge disappointment today. Our 1st experience at this location was wonderful. We loved Reese and how easy my son’s first haircut was. No crying no need to hold him, it was a dream. Coming for our 2nd time, we book with Reese again but then today received an email that they changed our provider to Charkora. Due to some out of our control circumstances we were 5-8 min late to our appointment. When we walked in the place was empty the lady there was cutting 1 boys hair. She was so rude and unprofessional. We are certainly not coming back here.
These people understand kids! They know how to get a squirmy, nervous kiddo through a haircut. Reese does a fabulous job, and everyone we've had there is great. We ask for a very specific style in order to accommodate our kid's hearing aids, and Reese took her time to talk to me and figure out how to make it work. Everywhere we go, people tell me they love my son's haircut! Front desk staff are super friendly, and the online appointment booking is easy to use. The salon is clean and colorful, too. Our kid LOVES going to Sharkey's.
We had an amazing experience with Luz! Our son has curly hair, and this was his first haircut. We were unsure where to book and what to expect. Sharkey’s was perfect! The police car seat, lollipop, and Ms. Rachel— the trifecta that made for a tear-free first cut! Before and after below!
