My first time to Sharkeys and both my kids had such a pleasant experience! I have heard of other locations so I was excited to see they have one in the north Charlotte area. I’m happy I found somewhere to do simple trims for my girls. They are mixed with curly hair and sometimes hairstylists dont know how to handle it. It can be frustrating especially if they make a smart comment. I’m happy I found a place I can continue to go. Crystal and Tyler were excellent with my kids and I love how they went the extra mile with lollipops, glitter, tattoos, and balloons. They were patient and my 3 year old usually doesn’t like shampoos but Crystal took her time and my 11 year old was excited. I love how nail painting, shampoo and trim is included in the 35. For the experience I think it’s perfect. I can style myself but the fact they do a little braid or style with the haircut is great. The hair products I think could be better for the curly hair to hold but I’m satisfied and will be a regular. I’ll definitely make an appointment next time but lucky they were slow enough since they have just opened I was able to get in within the hour on a Saturday.
We visited University Sharkeys on 12/6 because I wanted to get my 3 year old son & 5 year old daughter a fresh haircut prior to the holidays & their special visit with Santa. ;) Courtney did an EXCELLENT job with my 3 year old (squirmy & curious) son. She did a fade & spiky’s on top!! She was so great with him. & Nicole also went above & beyond with my 5 year old daughter’s hair—she was patient & washed her hair, painted her nails, & added tinsel!! & played Home Alone on the TV for her to enjoy while they placed the pink & rainbow tinsel that they let her choose. Such a great experience!! Highly recommend!
Had a great time with my granddaughters today at Sharky's Cuts for Kids. Karen was terrific with the girls and made it a very special time. Nails, salon shampoo and style. Highly recommend the salon. I also bought some products for them.
We had the most amazing experience at Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids! Karen was so wonderful and made the experience absolutely fantastic for my girls. They had wash, cuts and style and had nails painted. Karen even put glitter in their hair which made it so special. I highly recommend this salon and can guarantee you will have a wonderful experience.
We had a great experience! My daughter was very skeptical to get her hair cut for the first time. All the staff was so welcoming and made her feel very comfortable. Will definitely be back!
