This was the fastest haircut I’ve ever taken one of my girls to. We attended a birthday party here so we thought we’d give it a try. I scheduled a curly cut- her hair is more wavey than curly these days. It was brushed and cut dry. I’ve always been told not to do this with her hair type. I asked for some advice and didn’t get much. The stylist was nice, but I’ll probably just take her back to my stylist. She charges the same for wash, cut and style with more time spent. You pay for the cute factor of this salon.
Great experience - clean, friendly, professional, on-time. Super cute interior and set up for kids. We booked the shampoo+condition+blowdry, kids long haircut, sparkle strands & kids mani. We found two cute headbands to complete the look. My 7 year old daughter loved it.
My son has the hardest hair to cut, but LaToya took so much time to learn what we liked and didn’t want and brainstormed with me to get the perfect cut. Not to mention, she actually pulled it off! He looks amazing . We love Sit Still and have been going for a long time now. Will continue too. 10/10
CURLY KIDDOS! Look no further! Latoya at Sit Still Mesa is an actual wizard! She put so much love and care into our daughter's first hair cut. She went in so nervous and left all smiles. Every aspect of this place is incredible from the cute car seats to the adorable waiting area/store with a well curated selection of kids toys/hair clips/jewelry. They even gave us a goodie bag with a picture of her at the end! I cannot recommend this place ENOUGH YALL! Just. Go. I've already taken 3772267543 pictures of my daughter and it hasn't even been an hour. Sit Still Mesa is a true gem. If you're nervous about your kids first hair cut, this is the place! Happiness lives here!
I haven't taken my kids here to get cuts, but we did host a birthday party with 15 girls (for a 7th birthday) and they did an incredible job. You can drop off decorations ahead of time and they'll decorate and set everything up for you. They have a fridge so you can drop off food/cake early as well. Their communication by text ahead of the party was great - Madyson was very responsive. Usually the party is for about 12 girls but you can add on; we had 15 with no issues and could have probably had a couple more depending on who wanted what services. During the party there were three team members dedicated to doing the kids hair (styling and glitter strands, including kpop style hairstyles), mini manicures, and glitter tattoos as well as helping with cake distribution, clean up, etc. If you want Rumi braids, you should expect to supply the purple hair extensions yourself and it costs slightly more per braid which I thought was totally fair given how much longer they take. They provide coloring sheets for the kids but I would recommend supplying a couple of other activities for the kids to do (crafts of some kind) as only 2 of them are getting hair and 1 getting nails/tattoos done at once, so there's a bit of a wait. They also have a little Photo Booth machine that the girls enjoyed. Everyone was super sweet to all the kids and we all had a fantastic time!!!
