I needed a bite and some coffee after walking around town taking photographs, so I hopped into Social Roost for the first time. I was immediately seated at the bar in a seat at the end. I had plenty of bar space to get comfortable. My bartender was Paul, and he was instantly welcoming and there to take my order. I really can't say enough about his top notch service and friendly professionalism. I felt at home. I ordered the Eggs Benny (Braised and seared pork belly, two poached eggs, collard greens, and hollandaise sauce on a biscuit, served with dressed mixed greens) and coffee. I only wish the lighting had been better to capture the images of the food to do it justice. I found it unique and very delicious. When I am back visiting St. Petersburg again, this will be another must stop.
Social Roost Kitchen & Bar is a total gem in St. Pete! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, stylish, and energetic without being overwhelming. The menu is creative and thoughtfully put together—every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen really cares about quality and execution. The cocktails are top-notch, perfectly balanced, and clearly crafted by people who know what they’re doing. Service was friendly, attentive, and never rushed, which made the whole experience even better. Whether you’re meeting friends, heading out for date night, or just looking for a great spot to eat and unwind, Social Roost absolutely delivers. Can’t wait to go back!
Our first time here was an amazing experience! Olivia was our server and she was top tier! Beautiful personality and she was so professional and knowledgeable of the menu! We were a large group and, she made us all feel so well taken care of, of course with help from the entire Social Roost team. The runners were kind and efficient in helping us get our food so quickly. The food! The mussels are FANTASTIC. My lavender mocktail was sooo good!! Overall wonderful experience!
A must stop by while in St Petersburg area. Loved the variety in menu. Very modern ambience. Great cocktails.we went there for family gathering. Very close to beach, street parking or there is huge parking across the street. Food presentation was amazing. I tried apple cider mule. We tried shrimp and grits (one of the best I’ve ever had), red snapper, butter chicken, mushroom salad(another must have) and blacked chicken. Servers were very knowledgeable and friendly. They have good selection for kids menu (Mac and cheese, chicken, tenders fries). My toddler finished the whole thing.
We only stopped by for drinks and appetizers ...it was pretty busy.. ended up getting the shrimp ceviche and bruschetta. The shrimp ceviche ended up having a slight kick that snuck up on you..so good. The brushetta was also delicious with green tomatos and fresh mozarella with beautiful Basil seasoning and the glaze. Would like to try the entres next time..prices kinda pricy but food seems worth it. We also liked the vibe and decor ..
