SOLMAR is a great studio! Gaby, Stef, and all of the instructors are very thoughtful and encouraging. The space is welcoming and peaceful. Highly recommend, especially to anyone thinking about trying pilates for the first time!
So happy that I found Solmar. I’ve been coming for months and always leave feeling great. Instructors are helpful but not intrusive and I enjoy both the mat classes and the reformer classes. The space is small so classes feel almost private but having a few others around me makes it so much more fun. The perfect blend!
I recently started classes at SOLMAR and I'm so glad to be doing Pilates again! I cannot say enough good things about this studio. I loved the new client special - it had been a few years and Isabel made me confident to go back to Reformer classes again through the private consultation. Isabel puts a lot of thought creating a great environment and sense of community at the studio. It is such a beautiful, welcoming space. I've been enjoying the Reformer classes very much - Gaby has provided great challenges and variations that keep me engaged and excited to see what I can achieve.
I've been taking Reformer classes at Solmar on South Street for 3 months now. Lauren, Tahira, and Isabel are all careful and encouraging instructors. Class always leaves me feeling 10,000% better when I leave than when I arrived. I have felt consistently challenged but supported by the studio community as a beginner with some special injury and prenatal concerns. The small classes at Solmar are both safer and more intense than the over-enrolled pilates classes at the big center city gyms.

The studio has such a calming and welcoming vibe – it’s the perfect place to focus and push yourself. They really know how to balance the pace of the class, whether you’re just starting or have been doing Pilates for a while. I’ve left every class feeling stronger and more aligned.
