Terrible communication! I emailed this company 3 times to just update on shipping timeframes so I can coordinate mail pick up. No response. Called left a voicemail and asked for a return phone call because I was making sure my order would still be shipped prior to reaching out to PayPal, what do you know as soon as I mentioned PayPal my shipping label prints within hours yet still no call back! I chose to support a Indie bookstore over Barnes & Noble yet the communication sucked. Will not purchase from this store in the future :(
We were on a little day trip in Midtown and saw this book store. I am so glad we stopped because not only did they have a great selection of nonfiction books, but the lady at the counter we spoke with sent us on a whole journey with maps and everything. She was an absolute gem. If you are in the area and love nonfiction books, this is a must-visit store.
This is my favorite bookstore, not only because of the amazing selection of books, but because Janet and the staff always make you feel so welcome! My twin sister and I come in periodically and I love that she remembers us. I always leave with a big smile on my face! :)
Definitely one of my favorite gems in the city. I brought my friend there who is from Harlem and she loved talking to the owners and she left with a stack of books. This was definitely a highlight of her trip.
There are bookstores.. and then there's Source Booksellers. Starting w/the basics, they offer an incredible array of titles, but are carefully curated for their customer base. It's the perfect size store for browsing, and there's always a friendly face to greet you...and that's what makes them extra special. Whether it's the owner Janet, her associate Alyson, or any other staff, they make shopping at Source Booksellers special. This is an incredible gem in Detroit, so if you're a reader, visiting this wonderful store is a must
