We’ve been with every years and we love everything about this practice. I started while I was in my pregnancy and continued into this fine age of perimenopause. She’s helped us through lots of aches and pains and I highly recommended her.
After months of suffering with migraines, multiple tests and doctors medicating me with no improvement, and three trips to the emergency room for pain relief, I finally found Dr. Carlson. Honestly, I didn’t notice an immediate improvement because I was taking so many prescribed and over the counter medications. My husband noticed. He was constantly checking on my pain level, and he said he could tell a difference within hours of my first treatment. I have continued treatment for three months now, and have had weeks with no migraines. Dr. Carlson and her caring team are so kind and they have been incredible to me. I cannot recommend this practice enough.
Dr. Carlson is incredible. I started seeing her during my pregnancy. She helped alleviate many aches and helped me stay super relaxed to help get my body ready for birth. I was induced for my first pregnancy and definitely attribute a lot of the reason for having a successful natural birth to Dr. Carlson. I am still visiting her postpartum and she is just as thorough and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Carlson!
Dr. Carlson is the best!! She has helped me through fertility, healing from miscarriage, becoming pregnant and navigating each trimester of pregnancy. Depending on the trimester and how I was feeling, I would go weekly, biweekly or monthly! She takes the time to listen and truly get to know you and your needs! I always look forward to my appointments because I leave feeling supported and relaxed! The whole team is great, Adileny, the patient care coordinator is so helpful and kind! Overall, throughout my whole fertility and pregnancy journey I feel like Southwest Acupuncture has become like family and I am so grateful for them!!
I walked/limped into Southwest Acupuncture Clinic as a skeptic with tight hips just months after 2 hip replacements at age 30. Fast forward 3 years and plenty of new reasons to come since then, and I am convinced Dr. Carlsen has changed my life. Over the years, I have been treated for TMJ, wrist pain, muscle tightness, and fertility. I got pregnant on the first try, and now have a healthy baby. I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Carlsen’s knowledge and skill and her wonderful staff. Southwest Acupuncture Clinic is bright, beautiful, and clean, and the perfect place to upkeep a busy body.
