First time in for a haircut with Melissa. From the start, Jay, the receptionist, immediately made me feel welcome and was nothing but a sweetheart! Melissa did a wonderful job fixing me up after I cut my own hair (I know, I know). She took her time to get to know my hair and made sure I left with exactly what I wanted. After my cut, Jay was on top of it again—answering questions about other services and got me checked out in no time. Will definitely be back again! Lovely experience overall.
I absolutely love this salon! The aesthetic reminds be of a space tattoo shop if that makes any sense! Both times I have been here, the staff was really welcoming and kind. They made me feel right at home. I love the vibes they have. I have had two appointments here with Mel and they have been great. I have 4c hair and a short buzz right now. The first time I went, I got my hair cut and dyed and the process was so quick and easy. My second appointment I got my eyebrows tinted and absolutely loved it! Mel is for sure my go to for hair coloring. I hope in the future we can do some different cool colors!
I'm so mad at myself for not going here earlier! I had trouble finding a new stylist after my last one moved and I struggled to find someone who could do my hair, right! In desperation I googled a salon in the neighborhood that had the best reviews (and it happened to be one in walking distance.) This place is awesome! I went in for highlights with Earl and he did an incredible job and even trimmed up some areas that the last stylist missed. He's super friendly and knows what he's doing. The salon has a cool, edgy vibe and reminds me of some salons that I used to go to in LA and Atlanta. I will definitely stick with Earl! Highly recommend!
Alison is a total hair magician! ✨ I always leave her chair feeling amazing. When I first met her, my hair was damaged from a previous salon, and she completely brought it back to life—it’s now healthy, soft, and vibrant. I only wish I had found her sooner! Not only is she incredible with vivid color, but she’s also just an amazing person all around. I can’t imagine going to anyone else!
This is one of few salons in Charlotte where they are masters of cuts AND color! How rare it is to find stylists who can do both. Shay and Alison know their stuff - they are highly experienced. They continue to learn and grow in their craft. Alison worked a miracle and with short notice, helped me color-correct my hair in only 3 hours from vivid red to natural copper. They are also an inclusive salon and even have massage chairs while they rinse your hair!!!
