We enjoyed our parents night out with a delightful dinner! The cocktails were all great, we especially loved the Kentucky samurai and bourbon smash! Our soups of choice unanimous as we all picked French onion soup! It more than met our expectations! The wedge salad was delicious and the candy bacon was perfect! As far as our main courses go the ribeyes were impressive and cooked to perfection as were the filets. I ordered the three filet medallions and the best way to describe it was almost like a flight. Each one had its own different “dressing”- I was very happy with the variety! The deserts were a lovely ending the only complaint was the cream brulee had a very thick sugar crust- it was slightly difficult to chew. The bread pudding came out on fire and was just as delicious as it looked! It was slightly loud in the restaurant and that’s my reasoning for 4/5 however it didn’t take away from our overall experience!!
Wow, this is a gem. Atmosphere was nice. We had dirty martinis, burbon ball martinis, and old fashiones. All were fantastic. The lobster bisque was on point and the ribeye was perfection. Do not pass on this one...
Okay, so first off, the whole staff is totally on point with service, seriously, I notice the little things. This place is super classy, like, they work together perfectly, it's amazing. So, I took my wife here, and she loved the carrots, the filet mignon, and the lobster bisque was a big hit with her. I got the medium-rare seared filet mignon, and the brussel sprouts were so flavorful, it was incredible. I finished it off with an espresso martini that the awesome bartender suggested, and now I'm hooked! If you need a spot to go, or you're bringing someone, or trying to impress your significant other, I totally recommend this place. They have these cozy, intimate areas with leather couches jazz music in the background and chairs where you can eat, with beautiful lighting, and valet parking. This is a must-try, like, top five on your list if you're ever in Louisville, Kentucky, you gotta go.
After a less than pleasant interaction at the host stand, the service and food lived up to the hype/reviews. As a table we tried several offerings from starters/salads straight through to dessert. Everything was REALLY good. The bread with tallow candle was beyond spectacular. The steaks(filet and ribeye) were some of the best we've had and the short rib was fantastic. Desserts upheld the bar and finished the meal splendidly. Just for situational awareness it is pretty dark inside and was quite noisy, but neither distracted much from the meal. Just know going in it's about the food not the socializing.
A top notch eating experience. The live music , extremely friendly wait staff and expertly prepared food. I had the Foie gras which was perfectly prepared wonderful consistency and great finishing taste. Also had the 12 oz new York strip with their shepherds pie. Don't sleep on this combo. Absolutely one of the best pairings I've had in a while. Fully enjoyed my time there
