I had balayage with Ana last week and overall it was very below avg experience. I have been getting balayage for years now and i have had better experiences. Also this is the first i have been charged for extra color because they washed early and result was not as desired. then they charged for glaze i dnt think it was done. Even blow dry was average kind of rushed. My hair infact feels and looks worse than it was before . it’s about being wrongly charged, especially for a service that was poor. I am not going back there.
Jarrod was so warm and personable. He truly made me feel seen and heard. I love his “whole person” approach, really recognizing the emotion tied in with our hair. This is the first time I’ve ever had quite such a comprehensive experience in a salon. So happy I found him and Steel and Lacquer!
As always, Jarrod did my short curly locks to perfection. Even when I come in with a slew of vague aspirations, he’s able to catch my drift and work his magic on my hair. I love the way he kindly educates me about products, trends, and maintenance. Every time I leave feeling absolutely fabulous.
The experience was amazing. Bethany was super professional and really understood exactly how I wanted my hair to look. The whole appointment felt like a luxury experience and the head massage was so relaxing I could’ve honestly fallen asleep. She was thorough, detail oriented, and you can tell she truly loves what she does. My hair came out looking way better than I even expected. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Lena is the absolute best! I knew it the first time I met her. I had been repeatedly told by other professionals my hair was too fragile to be lightened. But not Lena… her expertise and confidence were immediately apparent. Additionally Lena is a wonderful person. I could go on and on singing her praises but you’ll just have to see for yourself! Highly recommend!
