Went on Record Store Day (RSD) and this place completely ignored the rules. RSD is supposed to be first-come, first-served with no holding or reserving exclusives. Streetlight Records did the opposite. They set up private appointments before the event so people could stroll in at opening and grab everything, while the folks who waited in line for hours got leftovers. It also looked like they were doing backdoor deals before opening—cars pulling up in the parking lot of the store and employees walking items out. Shady and disrespectful to actual RSD customers. To top it off, the worker was rude to us simply because we followed the rules instead of signing up for their workaround system.
Had exactly what I needed, staff was very friendly, was pet friendly, staff was stilling to hold items for me overnight. Good prices and overall cool vibes
An incredibly large record store with an even larger selection of media to buy. They even had some old games for sell. We looked around for a good hour before making off with our CD haul
Amazing store. Lot of choice in vinyls, CD, BR and also audio tapes!! I found the one I was looking for. I will come back for sure on my next trip to the bay area
