The Sunnyside team was very helpful and efficient with getting my new brakes ordered and installed the same day. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly they were able to get the job done and with fair pricing. They didn't try to upsell or add different issues like a lot of mechanics do. I'll definitely be back for anything related to my car in the future.
My 2024 new outback had a scary noise last night, I called Subaru dealer they said the earliest appointment gonna be next Monday and suggested me do not drive until they take a look since it might be a severe problem from the engine or transmission. However the sounds went away and the vehicle is still ok to drive, I was nervous to drive but if I don’t , it will be a big inconvenience on the thanksgiving holiday. So I drove here and described the issues to manager Allen and mechanic. They let my car in right away, the mechanic drove me onto the street to feel if there’s any problem during driving. He didn’t detect any problem in driving, everything feels normal and then he drove into their repair shop. Open the engine hood checked everything carefully with a flashlight. Then he lifted the vehicle up and took a very detailed examination of the chassis. After all he used a professional computer link to my vehicle to confirm if everything’s ok. After half hour’s check, he was assured that there’s no problem of this car. And filled a little defrost water into it. Manager Allen then came and asked him carefully to double confirm if it’s totally safe to drive. After a positive answer they released my vehicle with NO CHARGE! Even no charge for the defrost water! They wished me a happy holiday. This is the best auto repair experience I’ve ever had in the US. Their service is so good, I will suggest everyone to come here for their auto issues. I can’t say enough good things about this place! I’m a have zero car knowledge, and every mechanic here was so helpful, honest, and patient with me. They gave me the lowest price possible and were completely transparent about the work. It’s 100% an ethical, trustworthy shop. I have an old 2008 car that most places would’ve written off, but they managed to refurbish the engine and get it running like new. The owner even kept in touch with me via text since I was busy during the day, which made everything so easy. Totally worth the trip even if you’re in another borough. This will be my go-to mechanic for as long as I’m in the city!
