*Black Forest Cake Meringue* This cake was absolutely phenomenal!!! It was a major hit at my son's birthday party! We could not get enough I should have ordered 2!! It was not over sweet it was PERFECT and soooo different than any other cake we have ever had. You definitely lived up to the hype 👌❤️🔥💣 Thank you!
I finally tried the famous Black Forest Cake from Swiss Pastry Shop, and wow — it completely lived up to the hype! I’d heard so many people rave about it, and now I understand why. The cake is rich, soft, and full of flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. Some of my friends thought it was a little on the heavier side, but as someone who loves desserts, it was pure perfection to me. Every layer tasted amazing, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into making it. If you have a sweet tooth, this is one treat you don’t want to miss. Highly recommend giving it a try!
I asked ChatGPT for “the best cinnamon roll in Ft. Worth” and Swiss Pastry Shop was one of the top results. It was spot on! I came for the cinnamon roll (which was delicious, light, flaky with just the right amount of cinnamon and icing) but also delighted in their famous Black Forest cake, the wonderful brownies, Florentines, Nutella croissant and more! All truly delicious! Pro tip: If you want a positive start to your day, order from Barbara who is friendly, cheerful and kind! Note: From the outside, the Shop appears dark and closed, but it is open during regular business hours.
I have never heard of black forest cake but my goodness it was delicious! If you know it and want a piece or two, definitely come here. Everything else was good but for me that cake was just amazing!
Sorry to give this lower stars. I’ve been getting their “famous” Black Forest Cake for years, either myself or from family member, and had not had it in about 3 to 4 years until Friday 8/29/25 when my daughter bought it to celebrate my retirement and the balance is very off. The whipped cream in the middle is ENTIRELY too much! Who “baked” this one? Disappointed. In all the years prior that I have gotten this cake, this would’ve been a five star review.
