This is a super cute place to hang out and have a drink then chat or read a book. There’s a good selection of books you can buy as well. I would highly suggest stopping in!
i have to admit this place is such a vibe to me the presence and spirit that moves in this space makes me want to work here I could be around this type of atmosphere daily with no worries of low vibration moods. This place is great for reading relaxing wining or working. The space offers great ammentaties and you can book your own private event at as low as $250 an hour. It's a must see you must go check them out‼️🔥🙌🏽👌🏽💪🏽💯💯💯
Great vibes, friendly + professional staff, and the set up of the main room with spaced apart seating matched the intention of the bar which felt unique and thoughtful. Light, music + noise level was just right, perfect for book lover's night out. Only suggestion is that I wish the chairs were a little closer to the table so I didn't have to do a full lean and reach for my glass of wine each time (haha). Really happy to see more innovative third spaces like this popping up around town, definitely looking forward to returning!
I really wanted to love this place. The aesthetic and décor are absolutely beautiful, and I was so excited to support a Black-owned business by hosting my book club meeting here. The space itself is stunning — cozy, creative, and exactly the kind of environment I envisioned for a relaxing book discussion over wine. Unfortunately, the CUSTOMER SERVICE fell short of the experience I was expecting. When we arrived, we weren’t greeted at all. We were later told we couldn’t turn our chairs to face each other for discussion — something we noticed other guests doing freely, especially those dressed up. It was disheartening to see inconsistent treatment, particularly when we saw other patrons, including WHITE guests, rearranging furniture without issue. The male bartender with braids was also incredibly rude, even going as far as to snatch a menu from my friend’s hand after she ordered something that was listed but unavailable — a menu that had been handed to her by the sweet bartender with curly pink hair, who was kind and professional throughout. I’m a five-star mixologist myself and have worked in Michelin-starred restaurants, and I would never treat any guest the way we were treated, no matter their attire or background. There is no posted dress code, and we came in casual, neat streetwear — not pajamas or gym clothes — simply looking to enjoy a Saturday of good conversation and wine. We were also told multiple times to quiet down, even though we were speaking at a normal volume just to hear each other over the crowd. Overall, the space is beautiful but the energy was disappointing. It felt like the focus was more on appearances and catering to certain customers rather than providing genuine hospitality to everyone. I truly wanted to support this place, but based on our experience, I won’t be returning for future book club meetings.
This place is an introverted book lovers dream. Staff is friendly and make great recommendations. I had one of their seasonal mocktails plus a glass of wine, and sat reading by one of their windows for a couple hours. Comfortable furniture, beautiful vibe, I loved the instrumental music they had playing. Will absolutely be back again for future solo dates.
