I had my oil changed at Take 5 Austin Highway yesterday. Christian was friendly, quick, and efficient. He kept me informed of the process throughout and didn't overly pressure me for extra services, a nice change from other oil shops in the area. All things considered, I am quite pleased with the service and the generous coupon on their website kept the price down.

The service received was above and beyond what is expected. The tech seemed to be new but knew what he was doing. Another senior tech double checked the work, which I was very grateful. They all seemed to be hard working, patient, and very polite.

I just purchased a used car and needed to get the oil changed, the men that helped me out were absolutely wonderful - Phillip, Eli, and Banks! Thanks for making it such an easy experience. They were very helpful and answered any of the questions I had. They also replaced the air and cabin filter for me! Very thorough 10/10.

A True Lifesaver – Exceptional Service at Take 5 Oil Change! I cannot thank the team at this Take 5 Oil Change location—especially Manager Edward—enough for their professionalism, integrity, and quick action that likely saved my engine, my finances, and potentially even my life had I gotten into an accident. Here’s what happened: My husband took our vehicle in for a routine oil change at a different location on Sunday, July 30. Everything seemed fine until a week later, when my car suddenly flashed a serious "Oil Pressure: Stop! See Owner's Manual" warning and started beeping. I pulled over immediately and remembered some oil spots I had seen earlier on the driveway. My husband checked and confirmed a large trail of leaking oil. Thankfully, I was close to this location and drove straight over. Their team quickly pulled my vehicle in, verified my recent oil change through the VIN scan, and immediately identified that oil was leaking badly. Upon further inspection, they discovered the oil filter gasket had been damaged, likely from being improperly installed at the original location. Here’s where things went above and beyond: Manager Edward personally stepped in, explained the issue with calm professionalism, and despite not being the original location took full initiative to fix the problem. He performed a complete oil change, replaced the damaged gasket, and topped everything off. He even showed me the faulty gasket and explained the likely cause without blaming the other shop. Edward was polite, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about getting me back on the road safely. His integrity and exceptional customer service turned a stressful situation into one of the best automotive service experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you, Edward!
