We were visiting Orlando and were craving birria tacos. We Googled taco spots and decided upon Talking Tacos because of the reviews and recommendations from local Floridians. We’re glad we did! I give Talking Tacos 5 stars across the board: Talking Tacos SoDo is an amazing Birria Taco restaurant. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is amazing, and the service is top notch. Riley and Ryan are friendly, customer service oriented, and helpful with recommendations based on our tastes. I especially recommend the birria tacos of course, the fresh guacamole and pico de gallo, street corn in a cup, and chicken quesabirria. However, one can’t go wrong with whatever you order. The entire menu is fantastic!
Amazing staff! Super attentive with everyone. Had issues with my mother’s tacos because she has stomach issues; Riley was very concerned and fixed the issue right away by giving her chicken tacos based on her allergies. Always asking if everything is okay! Haven’t had this type of customer service in a while. Honestly best place for bomb tacos, atmosphere, and vibes! Thanks again for all you do Emily, Ryan and Riley! Give them a raise!!!
Small space with limited seating, but we were able to get a table. Ordering on a tablet was easy. Staff wasn’t very welcoming, but the interior made up for it. Food was fresh, came out quickly, and was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth every penny, our new favorite spot and better than any Mexican food chain, in my opinion.
First time trying Birria Tacos and Birria Mac & Cheese — and wow, absolutely incredible! 🔥 Both dishes were bursting with flavor, easily a 10/10. Everything here is 100% halal. 🙌 Once you’re done with your mains, don’t skip the churros — quite possibly the best I’ve ever had 👀. All in all, this spot is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back!
If there is something my Wife and I have tried in Orlando a lot in so many places...that is Tacos! from food trucks to fusion tacos to Mexican restaurants and so. We decided to give Talking Tacos a try, and they didn't disappoint at all! The place decor is very fun! The service was super nice from the moment we were greeted. The food didn't take very long, and it was fresh, hot and very well presented! We got the Shrimp Bang bang tacos, the Carne Asada (some bites were a bit hard...but tasted very good!) The Birria Ramen was soooo good! and the Corn "esquite" was very good as well! We are definitely adding this place to our favorite list!
