We took couple's dance lessons specifically for our wedding - the first dance, in spring of 2025. Margaret was our instructor and she was very good at her job, and charismatic to boot! We felt very comfortable with her instruction, and she fit movement to our song of choice quite well. The price was very reasonable. We will be checking out some of their drop in classes at some point in the future!

Margaret was so lovely to work with, she helped my husband and I choreograph & practice our first dance for our wedding! She made sure we were both comfortable with the dance, and was always open to questions and ideas. She was fun, outgoing, kind, and very knowledgeable in her work. We had such a great time learning from her, and hope to have more opportunities to come across her in the future! Thank you for bringing our first dance together, we really appreciate it!! We took private wedding dance lessons here with Margaret as total beginners and impressed everyone with our first dance at our wedding! Margaret was patient with us, but firm at the same time so that we didn't practice in bad habits. She filmed us and herself demonstrating moves so we could see our progress and practice at home. We were ready in about six 1-hour lessons, which were very reasonably priced. We are so glad we took the time to take dance lessons together.

I don’t have any experience with other dance studios or any prior lessons but I must say doing the 4 sessions with Margaret before my wedding day was a life saver. She is a fantastic teacher and we were able to pick up a few different moves on our big day. It’s a great atmosphere and beautiful building. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to gain confidence on the dance floor or someone wanting to learn different styles of dance!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the most incredible experience at Ted Motyka Dance Studio, working with Margaret from late February on a weekly to bi-weekly basis leading up to our August wedding. She is an absolutely fantastic teacher—so full of love, patience, and attention to detail. We, of course, chose quite a long song for our first dance, and Margaret choreographed the entire routine beautifully. When we performed it at our wedding, it completely blew everyone away! Even now, guests are still talking about how stunning it was, and that’s all thanks to Margaret’s amazing guidance. Not only was taking these classes an incredible way to prepare for our wedding, but it also became a great date night experience for us! We loved it so much that we continued taking lessons after the wedding, and the weekly salsa classes have been an absolute blast. If you want an unforgettable first dance and a fun way to connect as a couple, we highly recommend Ted Motyka Dance Studio!
