I had a deep tissue massage with Cindy for 120 minutes, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calming and welcoming. Cindy was highly skilled and attentive, taking the time to understand my specific needs and areas of tension. The massage itself was both healing and invigorating. Cindy used the perfect strong amount of pressure to target the knots in my muscles, helping to relieve tension I didn't even realize I had. I left feeling rejuvenated and with a greater range of motion. I highly recommend Thai Herb Massage to anyone looking for relief from muscle soreness or simply a luxurious way to unwind.
I booked a massage here for the first time specifically to relax while addressing upper-body tension, and I was very clear from the start that I have a severe back injury and was already in pain. I asked for gentle deep tissue, not aggressive force. What I received was the complete opposite of what I requested. I filled out their intake form and clearly circled the areas I wanted them to focus on. Those areas were completely ignored. Throughout the session, I repeatedly told the therapist to be gentle because they were being extremely rough. Each time, I was dismissed and told I “had a lot of tension” and needed to “go through it.” My boundaries were ignored again and again. Things escalated when they began working on my arms. I clearly told them I have a birth control implant in my arm and asked them to avoid that area. Despite this, they continued applying pressure. I physically pulled my arm away. Later, they did it again. At that point, my arm went completely numb and felt paralyzed, which was terrifying. They asked me if I was okay because I just held my arm was holding back tears. Let me mention there was no language barrier we were actively communicating the entire time. It has now been a week, and my arm is still numb. I can move it, but I noticed my implant had shifted. After seeing doctors, I was told I have nerve damage. This experience caused real, lasting physical harm. This place showed a total disregard for client safety, consent, and basic professionalism. Do not go here unless you want to be ignored, bruised, injured, and potentially unable to sleep or move comfortably for weeks.
This place is pretty exceptional. I have some medical stuff that gives me chronic pain, and work as a nurse in a hybrid role (so I'm wfh and on site meaning sitting and standing a lot) lots of knots! This place has been successful at relieving my pain and working through my knots. They're ALL excellent but Teddy and Penny are especially good! Be prepared for the yoga and manipulation because it's a good type of hurt :) They are very good with guiding you and asking permission before doing anything. They take online reservations and all forms of payment including Venmo.
Got referred to by a co worker. It was my first time getting a massage ever and it was the best experience I ever had. Walked out feeling better than I ever have before. Had a knot in my trap and they got it out. The place was professional, and the therapists were kind and amazing and understanding of what you need to get done. They explained what I can do to better understand my body and how to take care of it better. I already booked my next appointment and would come back monthly, weekly if I had the time. I am definitely going to recommend this place to friends to give this place a try.
I've been to dozens of massage places and had hundreds of massages, and nothing compares to the experience at Thai Herb Massage. My girlfriend and I had a couples massage with Cindy and Kate, and they were incredible. They could read our bodies without us saying a word, finding every tight spot and working through it with just the right amount of pressure. It was that perfect “hurt so good” feeling the entire 90 minutes. We left feeling amazing and are already planning to come back twice a month. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends, family, and anyone dealing with muscle tension or soreness.
