The studio is spotlessly clean, and everyone is so welcoming and helpful. If you’re looking for a low impact yet effective workout, definitely check out the bar method. My favorite part is the back dancing and stretching at the end!
I love this Bar Method location! It is such a great workout and they do an amazing job of coaching you on how to work your muscles to failure. I particularly love Grace’s Strength + Restore class with 45 minutes of barre followed by 15 minutes of stretching. The workout itself feels makes me feel so well balanced, and Grace is an amazing instructor. She is encouraging and entertaining, and I love the way she explains what muscles you are working and coaches you to push yourself.
Great studio! Clean (new), spacious, lovely staff. Awesome class with Dana!!! She is challenging but gently ensures that you are doing things correctly 🥰. Super fun.
I've taken a few classes at this Bar Method location. I vaguely recall they used to be in Embarcadero Center, I think? IMO this FiDi studio is more convenient for after-work classes and easy to get to by foot or public transit. The space still feels shiny and new, with lockers near the front and open cubbies in a larger changing area in the back. Staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming to newcomers. I've been especially enjoying the Cardio+Restore classes with Grace - it's been a great complement to the other workouts and activities I do. I won't say I enjoy allll the exercises in the moment (otherwise, it wouldn't be a challenge!), but I'm always glad I showed up and never regret going, and the movements are explained for different levels and experience. I've been meaning to come more frequently, so hopefully my schedule opens up soon and I can try more of their classes. I go using ClassPass, but they also have a special for new members. I recommend trying it out if you've never been, and bring/get some grippy socks!
I tried the new studio with their one month trial offer, and loved it! I absolutely loved taking classes (almost) every day and trying new class types with different instructors. Special shoutout to Ana, Grace, and Kristina. The studio is clean and the equipment is great. The instructors are very educated and provide great instruction on the moves. Every class is unique and fun.
