I had the tbone it was good as always. Salad, steak, potatoes and a drink with tip. Under 35. Only about a 5 to 10 minute wait for my steak just enough time to eat the salad. Good food fast service done right thanks Nick
Lived in Nebraska for many years and the steakhouses are of the highest quality or soon go out of business because so many choices are excellent and the best steakhouse on University in Ave Saint Paul has been my preferred place in MN for 20 years. The staff are very friendly knowledgeable and courteous the food is tasty and the portions are generous enough that you'll be taking some home too. The cooks are going to get it just right and more experienced than most others. If you want a good hearty tasty completed meal and/or have family come to town be sure to go as you'll return and they'll be talking about the positive experience for several months
First time ever going here and it was like walking into your childhood home. Inviting and friendly the staff was generous and friendly. The building itself has some real character with all the old pictures from the years. The food was excellent. Gyro was the best I’ve had in years and the fries were crunchy down to the last morsel. Thank you Best Steak House for keeping your doors open and bringing the joys of Greek food to our palates!
I came across them on Facebook reels and thought I’d give them a shot. Being my first visit, I wasn’t sure what to choose, but the owner kindly suggested their 'Valentine special deal.' He was such a sweet and cheerful person, and his warmth reminded me of my grandpa, which made me feel right at home! Although I had to do takeout instead of dining in, the experience was still wonderful. The owner even offered me some cake on the house, which was such a lovely gesture! The food was absolutely delicious. The steak was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, and I was pleasantly surprised that it stayed juicy on my drive home. The shrimp had a delightful crispness, the potatoes were wonderfully buttery, and the bread was soft and tasty. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!
The staff at this establishment was exceptionally friendly and courteous. The meals we ordered arrived promptly. The only issue with our order was the shrimp basket I ordered for my son, which he did not enjoy at all. Conversely, the steak we ordered was savored with great pleasure. However, we will decline to order the shrimp again on our next visit. We dined in, and the other customers who visited during our stay were equally pleased with the restaurant’s ambiance and cleanliness. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this establishment as soon as possible. My family and I will certainly return again.
