This place is SO special. Coach Ghedra is a magic human and my daughter who is 4 also thinks so. I am so grateful to be able to bring her into the Albuquerque hip hop community through such a great dance studio. Not only is she learning how to break - she's learning confidence, friendship, meditation and battle skills that promote supporting the other dancers. I wish I had this place when I was a kid!
My son really enjoys his breakdance class! All of the instructors are nice and very talented! This is a great studio to learn the art of breaking and to have fun!
Dancing Turtle provides so much more than an activity for kids- it truly is community! The coaches out so much heart into the practice, teaching the elements of hip hop in a fun and relatable way. Coach Soula’s early childhood education experience absolutely SHINES. The Tiny Turtles programming incorporates exercise, strength, memory retention, conditioning, coordination, awareness of self and others, but Coach Soula also truly SEES each child. Cyphers inspire relationships and shared culture. This safe space for kids to practice self love, self care and self worth is solid gold for Albuquerque!
Dancing Turtles has been a game changer for my son. Once unsure and shy, now confident and more outgoing. I believe that coach check-it and team have so much do to with this. They teach mad breaking skills but also self-confidence, inclusion, kindess and creativity. Thank you for what you bring to our community Dancing Turtles!
