I hired Carolyn and Steve to help me with issues surrounding a contract relating to the sale of some real estate, after we had a death in our family. This situation was uniquely complicated and very time sensitive. I could not have imagined having a better experience than the one I had with the team at Harris Law Firm. They handled the matter professionally and with the urgency it required and made it extremely easy to work with them. They were sensitive, responsive and available when I needed them. The outcome we were able to obtain was the best possible outcome that could have happened for all parties involved and it saved me and my family a lot of money. Carolyn’s work was with me directly and she was able to executed the document I requested from her very quickly for me. Steve had to communicate with third parties on my behalf and everyone who interacted with him through this process ranted and raved about how great it was to work with him. I have already had my realtors brokerage reach out to request the information for the attorneys we used at Harris Law Firm, because they were impressed. I would recommend them to anyone and I will reach out to them again if I am in need of their services in the future. 10/10.

The attorney I was “assigned” was solid; however, they will nickel and dime you at every turn. What they do not disclose up front is that retainers are per issue, and so if your issue changes you will need to re-up in full with a new retainer. I was pressed for cash, called them on this, and their solution was to assign me a less expensive attorney - thus wasting all the time/money spent getting the first attorney up to speed. There was no willingness to just help a client who needed it, just the rules created extract the maximum amount of money possible. If you’re not wealthy, I’d look elsewhere.
