My partner and I discovered The Joint Kickboxing through ClassPass in July 2024 and we’re so glad we did. Neither of us had any kickboxing or boxing experience, but this gym is incredibly welcoming for beginners and challenging enough for experienced athletes. Every class brings something new and challenging in the best way. The workouts are thoughtfully structured so they’re approachable no matter your experience level, yet still push you to grow. Between kickboxing, Muay Thai, and strength-focused sessions, there’s a great balance of skill-building and conditioning—and the encouraging, positive atmosphere makes it easy to stay motivated and come back excited for the next class. Jelani is an outstanding coach—kind, patient, and genuinely attentive. He takes the time to help each person improve their technique while making everyone feel confident and supported. We’re not training to become pro fighters, but we’ve gained strength, confidence, stress relief, and even some solid self-defense skills along the way. If you’re looking for a fun, welcoming gym where you can pursue any fitness goal, I can’t recommend The Joint Kickboxing enough. 🥊🔥
I was very impressed. I haven't sweat like that since Highschool nd it felt great. + no anxiety like I get from other gyms. The people made me feel right at home. Cant wait for my next visit. Glad I saw this flier on FB last week.
The Joint KB in Gulfport is the perfect gym for beginners like me, or experienced athletes, who want a fun, welcoming atmosphere with a ton of workout variety! I had zero kickboxing experience, but they made cardio kickboxing, Muay Thai, and even traditional kickboxing easy to follow and super motivating. The energy is always high, the community is incredibly supportive, and the mix of classes - including weight lifting, keeps every workout exciting! Whether you’re looking to get stronger, relieve stress, or just try something new, this place has it all!
Jelani and Nan are such a great team, good space, great vibes. Jelani is one of the best instructors l've ever had. I love the individual attention, he meets you where you're at and and challenges you to go above and beyond what you think you're capable of doing. Both Jalani and Nan are so positive and welcoming. I felt at home after arriving for the first time. This was the first class I did when signing up for class pass and I go here most of the time now. I would highly recommend this to anyone regardless of their fitness level. I found my people and my jam! 😊
Huge fan of The joint! Ill keep it simple, Clean gym is a must hits all the boxes there Great coaching, new equipment, nice fairtex punching bags, group classes , private training you name it I’ve personally been training with Jelani for a couple months now outside of being a personable easy going dude, he’s an amazing coach has been helping me on my athletic goals of becoming a pro fighter and attacking my weaknesses. Would recommend if anyone is looking for a good gym ran by someone who cares about your goals
