The best hidden gem event venue in DFW! We hosted our wedding here a couple weeks ago, and it was absolutely prefect. The scenery was a beautiful backdrop for our special day and exactly what we were looking for in a venue. It is very reasonably priced and you are able to use your own vendors which was a huge plus for us. We primarily worked with Lisa. All the staff we encountered were great, but Lisa was exceptional! She saw our vision and offered so many helpful tips along the way. So glad to have had her help and warm enthusiasm along the way. I so appreciated her quick responses to my thousands of questions 😂 Thank you Lisa, you truly were a blessing! Day of was a breeze, we checked in with the staff and were able to start setting up right away. Mostly everything was already set up for us and if we had any questions they were more than happy to help us. They also have a very handy side entrance that vendors can use to load/unload. There is a groom and bridal suite, secondary room (we used it for cocktail hour), as well as a prep kitchen. I cannot recommend this venue enough. So happy we had our wedding here and will cherish all the memories we made at this venue. Thank you Nature & Retreat Center team! ❤️
We couldn’t have chosen a better location for our daughter’s graduation party than the Nature Reserve Center. The setting was absolutely perfect—beautiful, serene, and spacious. The main room comfortably fit our 100 guests, with plenty of room to move around and celebrate. One of the things we loved most was the thoughtful layout: the separate rooms gave our guests a chance to take peaceful breaks away from the main celebration, which everyone appreciated. Special thanks to Lisa who helped with planning. The on-duty NRC staff on the day of the event, led by Will, went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They were incredibly helpful, professional, and resourceful throughout the entire process, from setup to clean-up. Their support made the day even more special. We wholeheartedly loved both the location and the staff. If you’re looking for a unique, welcoming venue surrounded by natural beauty, we highly recommend the Nature Reserve Center!
Getting married at the Nature and Retreat Center was an absolute dream. The setting was nothing short of magical- lush greenery, serene surroundings, and breathtaking beauty at every turn. It was the perfect backdrop for our celebration, and our guests are still in awe of the amazing atmosphere. Our wedding felt intimate, relaxed, and immersed in nature- exactly what we had hoped for. This is a hidden gem, don’t miss out on this venue! What made the experience even more special was the incredible staff! From planning to the final send-off, they were organized attentive and genuinely caring. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and that we felt supported every step of the way. We are beyond grateful for the unforgettable memories the NRC helped us create, thank you!
We’re so happy we chose to have our wedding here. We live nearby and it’s very special to us that we can come to the park in the future to relive our day. The staff were very easy to work with, great communication. The venue is gorgeous and a steal on pricing. Even though we had to move our ceremony inside day of it was still gorgeous and they made it easy to change the plans and have everything set up. Highly recommend
We had THE best experience here for our wedding on 04-12-25. From our venue tour to our exit, everything was top notch. You can't beat their prices or service. Will and Mary Claire were SO helpful on the day and took so much off our plates. The perfect venue for your wedding by far.
