I’ve been going to The Shop for a few months now, and Andres is hands down one of the best barbers I’ve ever had. He’s super meticulous with both my hair and beard — every cut feels dialed in. The vibe in the shop is always relaxed, and Andres makes the experience even better with great conversation (he somehow remembers everything we talked about last time). Highly recommend if you’re looking for a clean cut and a chill atmosphere.
The Shop ATX is the best barbershop I have been to. The hospitality is always great and you will always feel welcomed there. My personal favorite barber there is going to be Aaron Alba. Aaron has been cutting my hair for years now, the fades he provides can transform you into a new person. The bond we have built over the years of Aaron cutting my hair has felt more like I’m getting my haircut by a brother. If you are considering getting a men’s haircut, I would most definitely consider this barbershop. There are multiple awesome barbers in there.
What can I say Aaron has always got me right, whenever i needed him, he will always has my back. I love the vibe and funny jokes we crack up here at the shop, there is always something to talk about. Never a dull moment thank you The Shop ATX I’ll be back.! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I can’t thank The Shop ATX enough, especially Joaquin, for coming to my rescue during a true hair emergency. Long story short, my girlfriend tried to help with a haircut and accidentally used a 1 on the sides, thinking it was a 3. Things went south fast. I showed up at The Shop pretty panicked, and Joaquin came through like a total pro. He worked some real magic and gave me a clean burst fade that completely saved the look. You couldn't even tell there was a mistake to begin with. On top of that, he even took ten dollars off the cut, which was seriously generous and so appreciated. The vibes at The Shop ATX are great, everyone is friendly, and the talent is real. Joaquin, you're a legend. I’ll definitely be coming back. No more DIY cuts for me.
My favorite Barber shop in the Austin City Limits… the vibe in here is amazing, the music is always bumpin, the chairs are soooo freaking comfortable, and the skill that this one shop has is incredible. I get my hair cut by Andres Castro, been going to him for 2+ years now and I couldn’t recommend him enough. He is focused, skilled, and a master at making sure you get the exact cut you want… fades, feather cut, beard trims, crop fade, the list goes on. I highly recommend him if you’re stopping in or booking ahead. If you find yourself waiting, they have a lounge upstairs, complimentary refreshments for before or during your cut. Cannot go wrong with the Shop ATX. (Plus they have some fire merch)
