To be honest, I had never heard of this place...but I was walking around on my lunch break from work and I saw this great looking sign outside and a lot of people inside so I had to check it out. I walk in, not a long line at all so I get up there and I immediatley know based on the signs and the menu that I should go for the "The Godfather sandwhich". I order it and the guy says no problem, meal deal includes any soda and any chips you want. I take the meal deal and I pick my soda and my chips and i sit to wait and before I have a chance to even check my phone its ready. Super friendly sandwhich maker hands me my food and confirms whats in the bag. I head back to work and wow the sandwhich is amazing, warm and delicious and loaded with meat. I will be back for sure. I also know based on waiting in line that they will accept a call in order.
Amazing deli located close to the courthouse. The pesto chicken sandwich was delicious!!!
By far the best delicatessen in the Sacramento Area. As a professional driver based in the Sacramento area, I have had the opportunity to visit multiple eateries in the downtown area. Tony’s quality of food and customer service is hands down the best. You can anticipate being greeted everyday by”Tony”, have your order prepared with care and attention to detail and leave the establishment with a genuine thank you. I can not say enough about this place and the quality of food. I have never had a meal here that was subpar. Treat yourself and enjoy and “ol school” deli sandwich the way sandwiches are suppose to be!!!
I'm from Colorado visiting to go to the Sacramento Anime Convention and I stopped here for lunch. The staff is extremely friendly and my meal came out quick, hot, and delicious. If I didn't live in Colorado I would be coming here everyday! If you're here for an event like I am skip the convention center hotdogs and nachos and go to Tony's instead!!
Great sandwiches and friendly staff! I visited several times while I was staying at a hotel down the street. I ordered three different sandwiches, all delicious. If I had one complaint, the sandwiches are pretty pricey. After tax and tip, they came out to just under $20 each. They are very large sandwiches though.
