The gentleman working the front desk of my hotel recommended Tuckers because I didn't want a chain steakhouse. SO AMAZING! Had a perfect medium rare filet, loaded potato and salad. Phenomenal service and bartenders made an outstanding dirty martini. Go! Don't miss it!
This was one of the tastiest burgers I've eaten in a long time. It was huge, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. I didn't even need fries because the burger was great and it didn't need anything else. My only complaint was the wait for your food to be served during lunch but it was well worth it. I prefer good food over quick service anytime. I've always known Tucker's had great food and it good to know they still do.
This was a great steak house! We chose it because it's not a big corporate chain. They are local (but do have more than one location) the atmosphere was very cool and the service was on point! It was pricy! But we would happily come here again for a nice dinner out while in STL.
Great ambiance for a steak restaurant. Our waitress and backup waiter were attentive and fun. My only complaint would be my steak was undercooked. My husband ordered medium rare, and I ordered medium. They may have flip flopped the order. Otherwise, it was a great date night steak place we enjoyed.
Beautiful neighborhood and a century home turned in a restaurant. Old, clean and comfortable with street views. The bar was full and lively. We were seated in once may have been a living room by the front window. Excellent spot. I ordered the Delmonico steak special, Delmonico steaks are not on the menu. The steak was cooked as ordered. A great selection of steak- hats off to the chef. The salad came immediately and it was fantastic. Tuckers serves the steak using their own steak sauce. I think it would be better without the sauce, however it was delicious. The baked potato was hot, full of butter and a crispy potato skin- perfect. Cheese cake for dessert, Tucker’s uses gram cracker crust. The cheese cake made for a great ending to a wonderful dinner.
