Tupelo Honey never disappoints! The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxed—exactly the kind of place you want to linger. We had the grilled cheese and the okra, and both were absolutely spot on. The grilled cheese was perfectly done (comfort food at its best), and the okra was crispy, flavorful, and hard to stop eating. A special shout-out to our bartender, Scott, who truly made the experience even better. He was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. The drinks were perfectly crafted, and he made us feel right at home. Great food, great service, and a true neighborhood feel. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be looking for Scott at the bar next time!
We had a great experience at Tupulo Honey on a Saturday afternoon. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was upscale, and the server was attentive and patient. I got the southern chicken BLT, which I highly recommend. The sandwich was juicy and favorful! I will definitely go back to try other items on the menu, as it was hard to choose since everything looked so good!
My boyfriend and I visited Tupelo Honey in Knoxville, Tennessee for brunch and absolutely loved it. The food was fantastic from start to finish. You have to order the homemade biscuits with their selection of house-made jams — they were phenomenal and honestly reminded me of my mom’s homemade biscuits, which says everything. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared, with those warm, comforting flavors that feel like home. Even the coffee was amazing, which is always a big win for brunch. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, making it a perfect brunch spot. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Knoxville. Highly recommend!
I went here with a few friends and had a good experience. It was a bit of a wait but it was Saturday. Service was good and our server was very nice. They have a few beers on tap and cocktails. I only had a beer but my friends enjoyed their cocktails/mocktails. The beer was cold. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed the fried green tomatoes in the grits.
My husband and stopped in before departing Huntsville on our return home. It was a busy weekend because of Alabama A & M University's homecoming and 150th Anniversary so we were fortunate enough to arrive early enough to score bar seating. The servers were prompt and courteous and the restaurant was clean. I had the honey Chipotle chicken and waffles, my husband had shrimp and grits. I LOVED the smokey sweetness of the glaze on my chicken with a good amount of heat. My husband's felt his shrimp could have been larger, but he still enjoyed the flavor and smoothness of the grits.
