I was searching for a physical therapist to help with chronic “coat hanger” pain in my neck and shoulders, along with frequent headaches. I’ve been working with Kristen for the past few months, and she has been wonderful—kind, attentive, and truly invested in understanding what I’m experiencing. She creates exercise plans that take everything into account and meets me exactly where I’m at. Building a foundation of proper movement and reactivating muscle groups has been challenging, but Kristen makes it approachable by breaking down each exercise, explaining its purpose, and gradually progressing at a manageable pace. I’m already seeing progress and feel encouraged about where continued work will take me.
As a retired professional rock climber, having the best care to keep me performing at my best is essential. They have been great at assessing my injury and providing a program that not only has progression but is tailored in intensity, which has helped me heal and begin my journey back to where I want to be. In my experience, everyone is very professional, they know their stuff, the care I get rivals the best I've ever had through all my years as an athlete and they understand rock climbing. It doesn't get any better than this for me.
I've had a couple of injuries that have necessitated physical therapy rehab. In both instances, I worked with Jess at Union Physical Therapy and the results have enabled me to regain my ability to return to running when I wasn't certain I was going to be able to do so unless I underwent surgery. Jess is not only knowledgeable, she's been excellent at encouraging me to continue to put in the work necessary to regain the strength, flexibility and range of motion necessary to get back to doing what I enjoy. I've had an awesome experience with Lindsey at Union PT. She's helped me build a wonderful strengthening routine for my knees (chronic overuse injury) to help me come down mountains much more enjoyably again. She holds me accountable, and takes the time to educate me and make sure I understand proper form & the "why" or certain exercises. It feels amazing to see/feel my progress! The staff are also great - very professional, friendly, & caring. This is a super high quality, well-oiled facility and I cannot recommend them enough!
I have been visiting Michelle from Union PT for the past 10 months after an ACL surgery. I can’t say enough how positive the experience was – Michelle is highly knowledgeable, professional, very patient and always knows how to adjust the treatment and exercises to my progress, and most importantly fun to work with! When she was away, she made sure I had a sub (Jessica, who was also great!) and the transition was always smooth and pleasant. The front desk was also professional and the facility and equipment are top notch. In the past, I worked also with Kristen who solved my back pain and my wife was very happy working with Alison who also helped her a lot. After 10 months I am finally back playing volleyball and can’t wait to get back to skiing this winter season. Thank you so much Michelle and the rest of the Union PT team!!
